Marrakech

From February to July 2021 I will be leading a research studio with Master students of the National School of Architecture of Marrakech. By working at the intersection of Architecture, Landscape and Water we will consider the garden through a historical perspective focusing on four themes: the palimpsest, scale, infrastructure, and the figure. The sessions will be sequenced by garden studies, urbanism theories, fictional excerpts, philosophical texts, and speculations of chosen sites in Morrocco and Africa.
